Mjolnir Build

My family are big Marvel fans – so of course when my son asked for me to make Mjolnir, I said absolutely. This was a challenge as the hammer has a lot of intricate detail, however, I think I pulled it off quite well! My son is very happy with it. I plan to make a “stand” or “holder” for it, so that it looks like it’s embedded in dirt (like in the first Thor movie) but that’s for another day!

Made it cardboard (layered to make it sturdy), foam, and my Cricut machine. I looked up the specs for the official Mjolnir in the movies. This one is just a few millimeters bigger, as in the process of making it, I had to add another layer of foam to fix some errors that happened during construction of the pieces.

K9 Golf Classic Project 2022

My husband is an avid golfer. Every year he heads down to Florida to participate in a charity golf tournament. This organization is amazing and I’m so honored I get to support it. They support Retired K-9 police dogs! Making sure any vet bills are taken care of for the rest of the doggos lives along with other ways to support. Please learn more about this amazing organization at their website: Pasco County Retired K9 Golf Classic

This year I made a sign or a display board. 1/4″ birch wood and paint!

I also made a little box to keep dog treats in – to be given away to the winner of the golf tournament. We even filled it with dog treats! Cardboard and non-toxic paint of course! It includes the names of all the dogs that have benefited or are currently benefiting from this organizations efforts. (As of 2022, the list will grow every year of course!)
