Vow Renewal Party Project

My husband and I decided to renew our vows this year. 17 years together! So, that meant a lot of party planning – and decorations to make! We love the Ocean’s 11 movie, so we had a Casino Night and got all dressed up! It was an absolute blast, full of love, family, friends, and tons of fun. The decorations were stressful as I wanted everything to be utterly perfect, but in the end, they turned out great.

I made the centerpieces, the koozies, and more. I made shirts for our “Girls Day” out (since I wasn’t a bachelorette – I never had one, so we had a Girls Day instead.)

“The Chaplain” Guitar

A friend of mine asked me to paint a custom guitar for him. Let me tell you, this is the first guitar I’ve ever painted and I was so nervous I was going to mess it up! This guitar was very important to him – he plays music at churches and works closing with the Army Chaplains. So, he asked for this metal electric guitar to be painted custom in Army green with painted lettering like old WWII jeeps. He has since sent it off to get all the fittings and strings, etc put on. If I ever get a picture of the completed guitar, I’ll edit this post to show it. But, below are the pictures I took.

I even went the extra mile and painted the case to match the new custom guitar!
